2011 National Indigenous Legal Conference

The National Indigenous Legal Conference, titled "The Pursuit of Equality: From international instruments to individual advancement", is being held over two days in Sydney on Friday-Saturday, 12 and 13 August. The packed program will address the key themes of Indigenous identity, Indigenous rights and Indigenous governance. There will also be sessions on Northern Territory Intervention, protecting culture and sentencing Indigenous offenders. At the conference dinner the attorney-general will present the Indigenous Legal Professional of the Year Award. Download a program, with registration form on page three.
